Evidence of How the Character Eveloped Throught the Book

I read catching fire, in which the main character is Katniss Everdeem. She developed during the book as a woman mentally, emotionally and physically. As she is forced into the games, and understands that all the capitol is trying to do is make the people understand that they can´t overthrow the capitol and also torture the people while they´re at it. Katniss as a child used to think that it was just a game, but she then understands that its no game, its savage. She grows up during this book of the trilogy more than the first book. The trick of her maturity in this book, is that she gets pregnant with Peeta.
She might’ve shown that she had a firm political position, or that she had won the last hunger games and taken care of Peeta and Haymitch; but she got careless with Peeta. They had benn sleeping together for all the time before the games, but the author never mentioned the possibility of a getting Katniss pregnant, although the author let us infer that it was possible because of them sleeping together and Katniss requesting that she wanted Peeta to sleep with her.
The author was letting us predict or suspect that something like that was going to happen. It was also predictable that Katniss and Peeta were going to get more allies other than themselves, even though they told Haymitch that none for the formal alliances. It was suspected that they were going to because Katniss had told Peeta that she would like allies so they could depend on more people other than themselves. She considered that it was very hard to keep Peeta alive when he was injured and she had promised herself that he was getting out, so she wanted as much possibilities to keep him alive as possible.
